Yesterday was a coworker's birthday. We're having a lunch/party for her at work tomorrow and I offered to make the birthday card. As long as I was making a card, I figured....why not knock out a few challenges at the same time? =D So, I took this GORGEOUS image from A Day For Daisies that was a freebie over at CDAC's Other Theme Challenge, got a sketch from Papertake Weekly, and I was ready to go. Here's the sketch:
And here's my card:
As I mentioned, the image is from A Day for Daisies. Her hair and skin were colored with Copics. The dress and wings were paper pieced. The flower is from Prima. I added pink jewels to the feathered headdress and the edges of her wings. I also added some little pearls as a belt. The smaller pink background paper was embossed using a Sizzix folder.
So, there it is. I really hope she likes it!
