Christmas in July

Hey y'all!  It's time for another Digistamps 4 Joy challenge. Yay!  This week is Countdown to Christmas.  December is approaching fast, so why not get a head start on those holiday cards? We want to see Christmas cards, with lots of snow and ice!

I got to use this fantastic image called Santa in Chimney.  I think it's just hilarious...something perfect for my wacky family. =D  The image was colored with Copics.  Then I used a snow pen and some Stickles to give the snow dimension.  The dark blue paper is a shimmer paper.  I stamped snowflakes onto it using white ink, then kaleidoscope embossing powder.  Add some ribbon and bling, and voila!

Now that you've seen my card, pop on over to the Digistamps 4 Joy challenge blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with.  Remember, you do not have to use a Digistamps 4 Joy image to join the challenge.  However, if you do...you get an additional chance to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

OMG what a FUN card. The image is just too stinkin' cute and what a great job on the snowflakes and the snow on the chimney. Really puts me in the mood for Christmas, even if it is 95 and the middle of July.

Hey girl....this card had me laughing out loud when I saw it. And had my dd giving me strange looks lol. You did such an incredible job with this challenge. That poor Santa looks like he's "knee deep" in it ;) I have no idea where you came up with this idea but it is a fabulous one! I love the way you did the snowflakes on the shimmer paper too. They really stand out beautifully.

LOL - the sentiment is perfect. I love the snow effect or pen that you used, give a lot of dimension to the chimney.
