Hi there! Welcome to Sassy Studio Designs' It's a Small World Part II blog hop!! Are you having fun so far? I certainly hope so! You should have arrived from the lovely Soma's blog. Wasn't her card gorgeous?? If you just happened to come across this post and didn't start at the beginning, please feel free to stop by the SSD blog and go through the hop in order. There are many prizes and much fun to be had. =D
Now, as you may be aware, today is the birthday of the lovely Lindsay (owner and artist of Sassy Studio Designs). So, a great big happy birthday to you, doll! As part of the surprise, it was decided that not only is this a hop showing off the newest Small World images, but it's also a celebration of her birthday!
As you can see (and might have guessed from my sneak peek) I got to play with the stunning India image. Isn't she a beaut? Absolutely perfect for paper piecing, especially with my new Taj Mahal paper pack. =D The sentiment says Happy Birthday in Hindu (I hope!) which I have been told is one of the main languages in India. (Thank you, Google!) My embellishments are from Recollections (available at Michael's Craft Stores) and the gold intricate ribbon is from JoAnn's.
If you've been by the main SSD blog, you know that we have some fun trivia questions going on. (Feel free to use Google or another search engine to find out the answers!) There are 10 trivia questions, with 2 bonus questions. When you have the answers, email them to ssdreleasecrew@yahoo.com. LOTS of prizes with this one! One of the bonus questions is a word/phrase scramble. You'll pick up (2) letters at each of the blog hop stops. I suppose you want to know the two letters from this stop, right? =D Here they are:
A N
Ok! There you go! To keep this post short, I'm not going to list the entire hop order. Feel free to go back to the Sassy Studio Designs blog if you get lost along the way. However, I will let you know that your next stop is the talented Kathy's blog! Don't forget, you only have until the 13th of August to email in your answers. Good luck, and have fun!!
