I Have the Best Mom....

Life's been a little crazy lately....I've been so tired I just haven't felt like doing anything, emotions have been rollercoastering like you would not believe... Yesterday I had a *slight* scare at the doctor...nothing too bad and the doctor said it's very common, especially early in the pregnancy, but I still had a minor freak-out.  DH and I talked about it and I calmed down and resolved to think positive....but it's just not that easy to get rid of that little niggle of doubt in the back of your mind.  Anyway, my mom came over to visit and gave me a little prezzie that really helped to take my mind off things.  She has recently won a number of challenges, including a few over at Anita Be Stampin'.  She knows I just adore this particular stamp set, but am having money issues so have been unable to buy it for myself.  With one of her challenge wins, she bought me this fabulous set!  Isn't it cute!

Love Moo - Cling Mounted Rubber Stamp Set

For some reason I just love these little cows, and they make me smile whenever I look at them.  It may seem like a silly, little thing, but it was just what I needed.

Mom always knows a way to take my mind off the bad things and make me laugh.  She's always there to support me.  Even though I'm "all grown up" she can still make everything ok with a phone call, or just a hug.  I couldn't have a better mother...she's the absolute best.  If I end up being half the mother to my child that she is to me, little Bean is going to be very blessed.

I love you, mama!

Will be keeping you in my prayers that all is ok for both of you during your pregnancy. What a wonderful Mom!!!! And I love that set, too! Its amazing how just a little act of kindness from your mother makes it all better!! Big hugs Starla!

Isn't it amazing how one small, thoughtful gesture can turn a whole day around? How sweet of your mom, and congrats on the pregnancy. I'm sorry about you scare and I'm glad everything is okay with the little bean. (funny, but my cat's name is Athena, and I call her Bean all of the time. LOL. I don't think you've got a cat growing in there, though....)

I had a scare too, and then I found out it was a normal occurance in early pregnancy. I had never had something like that in my previous 4 pregnancies. So I was worried too, but all is well now. I LOVE that stamp set! Your mom rocks! My sister is totally in love with cows, they are her favorite animal. She would be in heaven with that stamp set!

Aren't mom's just the best? And really...who would know you better and know just what would cheer you up. I'm so sorry that you had a scare and will keep you and your precious bundle in my thoughts and prayers. I also had a scare when I was pregnant with my son...and he's now a healthy pain in my butt 22 year old lol. And I don't blame you for wanting that image...it is moo-velous!
