Dust Bunnies

Good morning my lovelies!  I had a fabulous long weekend on my retreat.  I didn't get many cards made, but I did finish my first sewing project since 7th grade.  Yay!  It's a hot mess, but it's MY hot mess.  =D  I'll post more pictures and details later.  As much fun as it was to get away, it's so nice to be back home with my hubby and my furbaby.  I got home just in time to be treated to a lovely dinner at Red Lobster.  Mmmm....crab legs....  =D

Another thing I got home just in time for..........the new Digi Doodle Shop challenge!  Plus, it's my favorite kind: Anything Goes!  Woo and two hoos!!

I had gotten this fabulous sentiment from Wink Wink Ink a LONG time ago, but had never used it.  It's so me, I just had to have it.  (I really hate vacuuming and sweeping.) As soon as I saw this adorable Digi Doodle Shop image Little Sweeper, I knew they would be perfect together.  (Want to know a secret?  She's currently featured in the Spotlight at the store!  Well, ok, it's not so much a secret, but you should still stop by and see the GORGEOUS cards made by two more of our DT members!)  You can find her here, in the People section, subsection Children and Babies. Now, I tried to find a cute picture of dust bunnies, but as you can imagine...that wasn't easy.  So I decided to use a public domain image of REAL bunnies.  They're grey, though, so that's kind of like dust, right?  =D  Little Sweeper was colored with Copics (of course), the papers and frizzy ribbon are from my stash.  All papers were edged with Colorbox chalk ink in Chestnut Roan.

Now you've seen my little card, hop on over to the Digi Doodle Shop challenge blog to check out the gorgeous projects by the rest of the DT.

Remember, you don't have to use a Digi Doodle Shop stamp, but if you do it will be entered twice.  Also, you can enter as many times as you want...as long as it's with a new card/project each time.   Don't have any Digi Doodle Shop images?  Check out the 99 cent category!  These images will be going away forever March 1st, so get them while you can!

Don't forget to check out the store to find out which fabulous images are 15% off for the month of February!  See you later, and thanks for stopping by.  =D

LOL, I hate vacuuming, too! Cute card. Love the fiber; it's perfect because it makes me think of the pet hairs and stuff that make us have to vacuum/sweep! Cute image, as well.

Hey girlfriend- I was wondering how your looong weekend was : ) Sounds like you had fun, good for you to finish a sewing project!!! I have a sewing machine that my honey got me so I could use it on cards...I get frustrated w/it, so tend not to even think about using it-lol!! I'm soooo jealous you got to go to Red Lobster, i love that place, but my honey isn't a fan of any type of seafood : ( Your new card is just too darn cute, so love the "little sweeper", she makes me smile. I love the colors & pps you used, has a homey comfy feel!! Have a great week, I hope you had today off!!!!
