Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!

Hey y'all, and welcome to Day 3 of the Sassy Studio Designs July Release Previews!  (Whew, say that ten times fast. LOL) If you haven't heard about this month's release, the super talented Lindsay has created a new line of Honeys from around the world; just in time for the Olympics!  Sunday was Great Britain, and Monday was the U. S. of A.  Looking at the title of my post, I bet you can guess what country we're celebrating today.  That's right....Australia! Woot woot!  Meet Australia Honey:

Isn't she adorable?!?  I just love her cute little hat and those fun boots. I have to say, I was stoked when I found out I got to preview Australia Honey.  Not only is she beyond fabulous, but quite a while ago I had bought some Australian-themed digis from Make it Crafty and never got a chance to use them.  Well, I just knew this Aussie Chrissie Tree would be perfect for my little Australia Honey.  Both images were colored with Copics, then Glossy Accents were added to Honey's eyes and Stickles were added to the tinsel on the tree.  (I tried to color the beer cans to look like Fosters cans.  Living in the US and not being a beer drinker, I don't know much about Australian beer.  All I can think of is the Fosters commercials.  "Fosters - Australian for Beer."  LOL)  The papers are from DCWV, the sentiment was printed on my computer and the ribbons and gems are from my stash.

Hello, hello!  Have you been seeing the previews for this month's release at Sassy Studio Designs?  I hope so...the images are just FABULOUS!  Are you a fan of The Hunger Games?  I loved the books, and really enjoyed the first movie.  I can't wait until the second comes out.  Well, I get to preview one of the new images from the release, and it's also inspired by The Hunger Games.  Meet Katniss, the Girl on Fire!

Gorgeous, no?  With all the folds, this dress is just a BLAST to color!  =D  I'm horrible at coloring flames, so I decided to just use the colors red and yellow.  I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out!  I also got to use my new grey Copics to try to create black hair.  I really like them!

Happy Friday to you!  I have a special treat to share.  Sassy Studio Designs is having a new release of fan favorite images tomorrow.  We're having a blog hop and chat tomorrow night...you definitely won't want to miss it!  Well, today I get to preview one of the images that is being released.  Meet Wednesday Sara Adams!  (Sara is the name of the fan who picked this image, so she gets to be the namesake!)

Isn't she FABULOUS?!?  I used some Copics, new dies, new flowers, new metal sentiment sticker, and, of course, Stickles!  (The black dots in the die are actually black Stickles.)
