He Loves Me...

Pollycraft is having a sketch and theme challenge (Sketch # 79).  The theme is Love. The sketch is...gorgeous!  I had so much fun playing with this.  Here it is:


And here is my card:


The stamp is from Pollycraft.  (Isn't she adorable??)  The flourish stamp is from Tim Holtz.  I used a paint dobber for the original flourish, but didn't like the end result.  Then I added a few more of the flourishes using a copper dye ink, and was a little happier with it.  The paper flowers started out cream colored and were shaded using copper dye ink and blue or purple chalk ink.

I think the paint background turned out wicked cool. When I first saw it, I was going to come say something. Then I read the blog post itself and I was like, "WTH? This Starla...she's crazy." LOL. Great card, Star!

Oh my goodness this sis marvelous. That background is the coolest! I was fascinated to read how you did it. This card is totally adorable!! LOVE it! The sentiment is totally perfect with that image too. I think you totally ROCKED this one for sure.
