SSD Sponsorships

Hello my friends, and happy Monday!  Did you enjoy the Sassy Studio Design blog hop this weekend?  If you missed it, you still have some time to hop and participate in the challenge.  You should check it out!

Well, I have some news.  SSD is sponsoring two, yes TWO, challenges starting today!  The challenges are Trick or Treat Something Sweet over at Love to Create and Halloween at Creatalicious Challenges.

I decided to use the new Vampire Slayer Sassy to create this fun little treat bag.  I give treat bags/boxes to my coworkers every Halloween, and I think this will be perfect.  Plus, I just LOVE this new image!  It's currently available in the store.

Ready to play along?  Head over to the challenge blogs for inspiration from their DTs.  Want some more fabulous Sassy inspiration?  Head on over to the Sassy Studio Designs blog to see what the rest of the Sponsorship team has created.  They are fabulous, you don't want to miss them!  Plus, say hello to some of the new Sassy girls!

Ok, well thanks for stopping by, and we'll see you soon!

SSD October Release

Hi, and welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs Halloween Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the lovely Ruza's blog.  Wasn't her project wonderful?  If you've just stumbled upon this post, make sure to head back to the start at the SSD Blog so you don't miss out on anything!  The whole blog hop order is listed there in case you get lost.

Well, as you probably know by now, the talented Lindsay of Sassy Studio Designs is releasing some very fabulous Halloween images this weekend!  To celebrate, we are having a blog hop and challenge.  What's the challenge?  Halloween bingo!  Oh, I just love bingo, don't you?  Here's the fabulous bingo board created by our very own Kim.

For my card, I chose to use the first line.  I had a fantastic die from Spellbinders with a fence and ravens that I couldn't wait to use.

I got to play with the fabulous Grim Reaper.  Isn't she spooky?  I LOVE her tattered dress.

Now you're almost finished with the hop!  Your final stop today is back at the SSD Blog.  I hope you remembered to leave a comment on each DT member's blog today...you never know which blog comment will win a new SSD image!  Don't forget to come back tomorrow for Day 2 of the hop!  Also, I really hope you'll be playing along with our Halloween Bingo challenge.  Plus, we're having a chat tonight on the SSD Party Blog at 6 pm PST (9pm EST).  Come by and tell us what you thought of the hop!

Thanks for stopping by!

SSD Sponsors Brown Sugar Challenges

Good morning my lovelies!  Happy Friday to you!  I do hope you have plans for a fun weekend.  Tonight we're throwing a surprise birthday party for a friend, then on Sunday DH and I are rearranging our furniture to fit the baby stuff in.  Yay!!  Are you going to make time to craft this weekend?

Well, why don't I help you with that?  Today starts the Sassy Studio Designs sponsorship of the Brown Sugar Challenge Blog.  Woo  hoo!  What's the challenge?  Being October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is...

Breast Cancer Awareness ATCs

I just love ATC's, don't you?  They seem like they should be so simple because they're so small...but it's almost harder for me! lol

Here's my ATC using the lovely Miranda Sassy from our Sassy in the City release.  I just thought she would be perfect with her showing off her...assets.  =D  She is currently available in the store.

Want to play along?  Head over to the Brown Sugar challenge blog for inspiration from their DTs.  Want some more fabulous Sassy inspiration?  Head on over to the Sassy Studio Designs blog to see what the rest of the Sponsorship team has created.

Don't forget, SSD is also sponsoring Link Up for Pink, which runs until 10/14/12.  That means you still have a couple of days left to enter, and there are some AWESOME prizes!  Plus, in case you don't have any Breast Cancer Awareness images, Lindsay was kind enough to share a freebie with you on THIS post.  She's lovely, so make sure to grab her while you can!

Also, there's a release going on this weekend.  It's going to be SPOOKtacular!  You do NOT want to miss it.  Come by the SSD blog for the hop on Saturday and Sunday (yes, there will be two days of hopping to make it more manageable) and stop by the Party Chat Blog on Saturday at 6pm PST (that's 8pm Central, 9pm Eastern) to join in a fun chat with the DT members and other Sassy fans!

Hope to see you soon, and thanks for stopping by!

SSD Sponsors Tuesday Alchemy and Tuesday Morning Sketches

Good morning, lovelies! Well, I'm back on the Sponsorship team for Sassy Studio Designs for the next couple of months.  Yay!  I am having SO much fun.  Today we have two, count them TWO, challenges we are sponsoring!  Woo hoo!

The first one is Tuesday Alchemy, with an Anything Goes challenge!

The second is Tuesday Morning Sketches, with this fabulous sketch:

Super cute, right?  They also have a twist...the letter "E".

I used the lovely Sassy Leia from last month's Halloween release.  (She is available at the Sassy Studio Designs store.)  I thought she would be just perfect with one of the sentiments from Freebie Friday on Papercraft Planet a couple of weeks ago.  Voila, a Breast Cancer awareness card!  =D  As many of you know, this is one of the main causes I support and raise funds for. Luckily, no one in my life so far has had to fight this horrible disease.  So when I make my BCA cards, I donate them to my friend's mom who does frequent card drives (and other fundraisers) for BCA.

As for the letter "E" twist, I heard about it a little late.  But let's go with EDGING (the gold and the stickles) and ELECTRIC (laser guns are electric, right? lol), and ELSEWHERE (because Princess Leia is from a galaxy far, far away...or is that Star Trek?).

Want to play along?  Head over to the challenge blogs for inspiration from their DTs.  Want some more fabulous Sassy inspiration?  Head on over to the Sassy Studio Designs blog to see what the rest of the Sponsorship team has created.  They are fabulous, you don't want to miss them!  Plus, say hello to some of the new Sassy girls!

Don't forget, SSD is having a new release this weekend, with a blog hop starting on Saturday.  Trust me, you do NOT want to miss these new images...they are SO FUN! We'll be splitting up the hop into two days again, half on Saturday and half on Sunday, so make sure to come by both days for more chances to win!

Challenges:

Tuesday Alchemy: Anything Goes

Tuesday Morning Sketches: Sketch
Tuesday Morning Sketches: Virtual Birthday/BCA Party

Link Up For Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness

Art Impressions Stamps: Pink for Breast Cancer

Our Craft Lounge: Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

SSD Freebie Friday - Support A Cause

Hey y'all, happy Friday!  Well, with the start of the new Sassy Studio Designs DT Term, I am no longer one of the Freebie Friday Fabettes for the next few months.  However, Regan was kind enough to let me play along for one last week to show off today's AWESOME image!

Hey y'all, happy Friday! Any big plans for the weekend?  I'm posing for some photos for an artist friend of mine tomorrow.  I'm SUPER excited!

Plus, you know what Friday means......Fabulous Freebie Friday over at the Sassy Studio Designs Paper Craft Planet group!  Oh yeah!  Today, not only do we have a fabulous image, but we also have some nice sentiments!  Meet I'm a Survivor:

Don't you just LOVE that sentiment?  Hilarious!  =D  Light pink paper is from DCWV's Sweet Stack, and the word paper is from Archiver's. (Sorry, I don't remember the company.) Gems are from JoAnn Fabrics.  Image colored with Copics.  (I know, you're shocked, right??  LOL)

Not only is there a new image, but there's a new challenge, too!  This fortnight the challenge is:

Support the Girls

Make a card of encouragement or support.  If you use pink, you get a bonus entry.

Considering October is Breast Cancer Month, this challenge should be no problem, right?  =D  Since October is my birth month, this has always been one of my adopted causes.  I try to do fundraisers for it every year, so this is always one of my favorite challenges.

Want some more inspiration? Why don't you head on over to the group to see the rest of the DT's projects, grab today's freebie, and join in the challenge?

Remember the freebie's only available for 24 hours, so hurry on over!  Just look for the discussion with today's date. Not a member of Paper Craft Planet yet?  It's easy and free to join.

SSD Freebie Friday - Fall Fun

Hey y'all, happy Friday!  I am so excited that it's almost the weekend.  So much to do!  Tomorrow I'm finally going to graph out the bedroom so I can see how to rearrange furniture to fit Bean's crib and other stuff.  Fun stuff, right?

Plus, you know what Friday means......Fabulous Freebie Friday over at the Sassy Studio Designs Paper Craft Planet group!  Oh yeah!  Here's Fall Fun:

Isn't that a fun little scene? I used to love playing in the leaves when I was a kid.  Unfortunately, I can't remember where the paper came from. I think it's BoBunny, but don't quote me.  If you really want to know, say so in the comment and I'll try to find out.  I ended up purchasing the paper while at a crop so I could make this card.  Considering Halloween is my favorite holiday, I have a surprising lack of orange paper in my stash.  =D  Leaves and "Fall Fun" embellie are also from my stash, image colored with Copics and eyes highlighted with Crystal Effects.

Don't forget, the challenge is still:

Orange You Glad It's Fall?

Orange should be the primary color.  You can use a maximum of three other colors, not including neutrals (white, black, brown, grey, kraft), which can be used as desired.

You still have a week to participate in the challenge! Want some more inspiration? Why don't you head on over to the group to see the rest of the DT's projects, grab today's freebie, and join in?

Remember the freebie's only available for 24 hours, so hurry on over!  Just look for the discussion with today's date. Not a member of Paper Craft Planet yet?  It's easy and free to join.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you over there!

On a side note, don't forget that Sassy Studio Designs is having a release this weekend!  Instead of the whole team doing a hop on Saturday, we're splitting it up.  Half the DT will be in a hop on Saturday, and the other half will be in a hop on Sunday.  Make sure to stop by, leave some love, and possibly win some prizes!

SSD Freebie Friday - Pin-Up Teacher

Hey y'all, happy Friday!  Man, I'm so glad it's Friday.  This week has just been crawling by, and I'm SO glad it's finally over.  =D  Plus, lots of fun happening this weekend.  Helping my mom out with a jewelry class (she recently had surgery on her left wrist, so needs an extra set of hands).  Then we're measuring my bedroom and furniture so I can graph a sketch and figure out some furniture rearrangements. I'm super excited.

Plus, you know what Friday means......Fabulous Freebie Friday over at the Sassy Studio Designs Paper Craft Planet group!  Oh yeah!  Usually the freebies are retired images that we re-release for only 24 hours.  However, this week....it's a BRAND NEW IMAGE!  How exciting is that?  Meet our new Pin-Up Teacher:

Isn't she a doll?  Great for coloring, and I think her outfit is perfect for paper piecing.  I can't wait to give it a try!  She was colored with Copics, then Glossy Accents were added to her glasses.  The orange paper is from Authentique.  I just love their Halloween papers.  The brown paper is a prefolded A2 card from Archiver's (part of a set I won last year at Crop Around Town during Scrapfest).  The sentiment is a sticker from my stash.  Gems from my stash.  Lacy punch by Martha Stewart.

Not only is there a new image, but there's a new challenge, too!  This fortnight the challenge is:

Orange You Glad It's Fall?

Orange should be the primary color.  You can use a maximum of three other colors, not including neutrals (white, black, brown, grey, kraft), which can be used as desired.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you over there!
