DTBST # 162 - Love is In the Air

With Valentine's Day coming up, it's time to show some love!  Now, keep in mind, it doesn't have to be a significant other.  I've given V-Day cards to my family, my friends....even myself when I needed a little pick-up! So show us some love!

As a huge Francopile, I made a card for one of my best friends using France Honey, available in the store.  Don't you just love her?  I adore her cute little beret! The sentiment is from Create with TLC.

Sassy Studio Villains Release Blog Hop

Hello, darlings, and welcome to day 2 of the Sassy Studio Designs January Release!  You should have arrived from the lovely Sara's blog.  Wasn't her creation fabulous??  If you just stumbled across this post, please feel free to head over to the Sassy Studio Design blog to start at the beginning.

This month Lindsay, the fabulous artist of all the SSD images, decided to take some of our favorite Disney villains and make them sassy, just the way we like them!  The theme for this release is...

Going Forward, Looking Back

Each of the DT made a creation using their favorite somethings.  Perhaps it was papers, maybe the embellishments, maybe colors...the list is endless!  I decided to create a project using one of my favorite color combos (red and black/grey), coloring with my favorite medium (Copics) and of course, using my favorite embellishment..BLING!

Meet Queen of Hearts Pinup, available now in the store.  Isn't she just fab?  I'm LOVING her sassy little outfit.

Another thing the DT is doing is sharing their favorite Sassy creation from 2012.  Now, it was really hard for me to narrow down considering how much I love all the Sassy images, but I finally chose this card:

Ok, I lied.  I had to pick two!  I just LOVE Steampunk with all the fun gears, but I also ADORE pink and black and the Addam's Family, so I couldn't leave out Wednesday!  The first card was created using Steampunk Vivian and the second card was created with Wednesday Sara Adams, both available in the store.

I used the mysterious Madam Honey, available in the store.  Don't you just love her?  I've always adored fortune tellers and gypsies! My charm is the little crystal ball hanging from the top ribbon.

Hey y'all!  Before I get to the new SSD challenge, I just want to talk to you for a minute. I really want to apologize that I have not been able to go around commenting on blogs for the past few months.  I swear I have been paying attention to all of you, and I love reading your comments!  Right now I'm still adjusting to having a newborn in the house, especially when daddy's at work and it's just little bear and me. I'm finding it very hard to find time to create cards, let alone go through my blogs.  =(  I swear I do value you all, and if you just have patience with me, some day I'll be able to go back to commenting as usual.  Until then, I love you all, and I appreciate your continued support!

DTBST # 158 - Out with the Old, In with the New

Good morning, and Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday season!  As you may know, I have been quite busy with my new blessing, so I haven't been around as much as usual.  This will probably continue for the next few months, at least until baby bear is older and on the bottle.  I hope you will be patient with me!  =D

I used the fabulous Lager Pin Up Sassy, available in the store.  My old items are the ribbon and pearls, both of which I've had for YEARS.  The new items are the papers I used, which I received for Christmas from my lovely Sassy Sister Alaine.  My sentiment is from Create with TLC.
